Game of Life as GLSL Shader

This is Conway's Game of Life as GLSL Shader. I have written this as a tutorial for the usage of FBOs and GPGPU shaders with the XVR virtual reality system. The tutorial can be found here.
You can download the source code and executable by clicking on the link below. Unpack the archive and open fbotut.htm with Internet Explorer (does not work with another browser). When asked, you must allow ActiveX content (XVR is an ActiveX plugin).
If you want to play with the source code, you'll need the XVR editor, which you can download here. I have not tested it with their latest version but it will probably run with version 1.4.7.
